Last year I decided I was going to upgrade some of my Christmas decorations. The ones we had were looking a bit tatty after years of use, but there were so many to choose from that I couldn’t decide on what to have.
I wanted decorations that would stand out, but I also wanted them to last for years and not date.
Once I finally decided which ones to go for, would you believe it, they were sold out.
This year I am not going to miss out and am starting to look early.
If you read last week’s post and got the free Christmas planner printable, you will know that my planner says to review your decorations by October Week 3. This was based on last year’s experience. So don’t say I haven’t warned you.
Here are the Christmas decorations that I am loving this year.
Themed Christmas Decorations
John Lewis is always a great place to start looking, and this year is no exception. They have some unusual decorations this year if you want a themed look. From Snowscape, Campfire, Party to Garden Retreat. All are beautifully themed colours, and you can take your share of beautiful or wacky, all with a sense of fun. My personal favourites are the Garden Retreat theme. Birds, bugs, fairies, and vegetables!! I’m not sure I’m up to hanging an aubergine or garlic on my Christmas tree, but I do love the colours, birds, and fairies.
Fun Xmas Baubles
If you are looking for bright or funny Christmas decorations, then here are a few that caught my eye:
And who could resist any of the Christmas baubles from Paperchase, leaping llamas, crocodiles in a tutu or cats with inflatables, how can you resist!
Decadent Christmas Baubles
I love most of the Christmas decorations at Nkuku, and this year I am definitely going to bag me some of these unusual and decadent decorations:
